East and Central European Communities Project
St. Mary’s Polish Parish is participating in the East and Central European Communities Project (ECECP), based at Cape Breton University with funding support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). The project – which is generating a vast database and publicly accessible interpretive materials on cultural communities in Cape Breton -- relies on the assistance and insight of many participants, volunteers, and interviewees, whose efforts are gratefully acknowledged. Some of the content from Cape Breton’s Polish community will be temporarily hosted on the St. Mary’s Polish Parish website.
