OGŁOSZENIA/ANNOUNCEMENTS

THE VIGIL CANDLE for the weeks beginning May 14th and May 21st will be in memory of Teofil Pierrynowski by Mary and family.

MEETING – “Living with Cancer” Support Group: This is a support group for those who have had a diagnosis of cancer, for their family, and caregivers. Wednesday, May 16, 1:30-3:30 p.m., Royal Canadian Legion Whitney Pier Branch. Guest speaker: Dr. John Ritter.

LITURGICAL COMMITTEE: There will be a meeting after Mass to continue the planning for Boze Cialo (Corpus Christi) celebrations on Sunday, June 10, which, following the Polish tradition, will include a colourful special procession and special prayers.

100th ANNIVERSARY – 2013: For the parishioners who recently volunteered to help with church tours, to develop our commemorative postage stamp, and to put together a 100th anniversary Polish cookbook with local recipes as a way of fund-raising, there will be a meeting on Wednesday, May 16, at 7 p.m. in the O’Connell House. The work on organizing the other 100th anniversary projects will get started in the coming weeks.
