OGŁOSZENIA / ANNOUNCEMENTS
FATHER RICH REPORTS:
Niech Bedzie Pochwalony Jezus Chrytsus! Praise be Jesus Christ!
Last Thursday marked the fortieth day after Easter and it is known and celebrated as Ascension Thursday. In Canada, the Solemnity is moved to this Seventh Sunday of Easter. Scripture tells us that the Lord Jesus concluded His earthly mission after appearing a number of times to His disciples, and was assumed bodily into heaven. As He addressed His followers and assured them that He would be with them always as His Holy Spirit would guide them. Next Sunday we conclude the Easter season as we celebrate the birthday of the Church when the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostles and Mary on the day of Pentecost.
Our parish family is saddened this week by the death on Thursday night of Dawn Marie Wadden, wife of James and daughter of Shirley Ardelli. We extend sincere condolences to her family (sisters and brother) and all other relatives and families. Let us pray that the Lord may grant to her now eternal life, happiness and peace.
