OGŁOSZENIA / ANNOUNCEMENTS
FATHER RICH REPORTS:
Chrystus Zmartwychwstal! Christ is Risen! Wprawdziwie Zmartwychwstal He is truly Risen !
Dear Parishioners and friends of Saint Mary’s:
Our very successful and enjoyable Tadeusz Tea at the Polish Village Hall last Sunday ended with shock when Shauna McKay suffered a stroke and was rushed to the hospital. At this writing, she remains in intensive care and on a respirator. Please keep Shauna and her parents (Frania and Melbourne),sister Sherri and other relatives in your prayers. Her family are most grateful for your prayers, Masses, candles, visits and the bringing of food to the hospital.
Janina McCormack also wishes to thank all parishioners for their Mass cards, memorial gifts and kindness shown her upon the death of her mother, Aniela Lubkowska in Poland.
The words of today’s gospel (John, 14, 1-12) are most comforting to us as Jesus tells us not to let our hearts be troubled (when we face death and illness) as He will come to take us to an eternal dwelling place in His Father’s Mansion. We must follow Him and believe in Him. This second Sunday of May is observed throughout North America as “Mothers Day” as we honour and show our love to our earthly mothers. May God bless and reward our living mothers as we thank them for their loving care shown us from our infancy. We also pray that God will give eternal life and happiness to all our Mothers that have passed from this life. We hope and trust in our eventual reunion with them in God's Kingdom.
