OGŁOSZENIA / ANNOUNCEMENTS

 

A MEMORABLE CONCERT LAST SUNDAY! Thank you so much to our friends at Ephraim Scott Presbyterian Church in South Haven for organizing a beautiful special Gospel concert to raise money for our rebuilding. And thank you to our choir: You sounded tremendous! The collection at the concert raised $1,760.20!

LUNCH AFTER MASS TODAY: Polish Village Hall – Everyone is welcome.We will have a rebuilding update. If you brought a non-perishable Loaves and Fishes contribution, please leave it near the main entrance of the hall. Thank you!

A NOTE ON “THE PIER” BOARD GAME – inter-faith project in support of Habitat for Humanity: Thanks for your support on Thursday. Our hall was packed for the launch, and it was wonderful to see so many faiths and cultures represented and celebrating and working together.  Thanks to everyone who helped, and thanks to Delores Starzomski for coordinating our Hospitality Committee. We will have copies of the board game available after Mass today during the parish lunch. The cost is $40, which will support the building of a Habitat home in the Pier.

CONCERT OF CHOIRS - MAJOR FUND-RAISER FOR OUR REBUILDING: Evening of Sunday, October 25, United Heritage Church, downtown Sydney. Thanks to our friends at United Heritage Church for making their sanctuary available at no charge. This concert will be a big project for our rebuilding

PAINTING OF THE POLISH VILLAGE HALL: Can you assist? The Society would be grateful for any help. Painting (inside) will take place starting tomorrow and continuing for a few days: July 13-17 from 4-10 p.m.

POLISH VILLAGE HALL – Peacock feather sponsorships in memory of deceased loved ones: The St. Michael’s Polish Benefit Society will soon be inscribing additional peacock feathers in the downstairs exhibit area. If you would like to sponsor one for $100 (toward the work of the Society), please speak with Nicole Baker (902-371-5088).
