“IMIENINY” (NAME DAYS) FOR THE COMING WEEK. Help to maintain a longstanding Polish Catholic tradition by acknowledging relatives, friends, and colleagues who are celebrating their “name day,” corresponding with the feast day of a saint of the same name.  Where there is more than one saint of the same name who has been assigned a day, your “name day” is the one closest to your birthday. It is customary in the Polish tradition to acknowledge the name day of a relative or friend:
November 15: Albert, Alfons, Artur
November 16: Edmund, Marek, Maria
November 17: Grzegorz
November 18: Aniela, Cieszymysł, Klaudyna, Roman, Tomasz
November 19: Elżbieta
November 20: Edmund, Feliks
November 21: Janusz, Konrad, Maria, Piotr, Regina, Rena
November 22: Cecylia, Marek

OGŁOSZENIA / ANNOUNCEMENTS

SPECIAL PRESENTATION TO OUR PARISH – AFTER MASS NEXT SUNDAY WE ARE ALL INVITED TO GO TO CHRIST THE KING ANGLICAN CHURCH(beside Wentworth Park/funeral home). They have made a beautiful banner for our new church that says “Zmartwychwstanie” (Resurrection) and shows a phoenix rising from the ashes. It’s similar to a banner they have in their church, which was rebuilt 30 years ago after a fire. It would be really appreciated if you could join us there after Mass next Sunday -- which is also the Feast of Christ the King. Thank you.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR – to help our rebuilding: Next Saturday, November 21 – 12 noon to 4 p.m. – Polish Village Hall. Admission is $2 (ages 12 and under free). Quality items and vendors. We will also have parish tables to sell parish products and Polish products to support our rebuilding. Also, pierogi will be sold at those tables. See you there.

ST. NICHOLAS DAY TEA (Herbata z  z okazji Dnia Świętego Mikołaja) – SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2-4 P.M. – POLISH VILLAGE HALL: St. Mary's Polish Parish cordially Invites you to a St. Nicholas Tea in support of the rebuild of St. Mary's Polish Church. Come celebrate St. Nicholas Day with a cup of tea, delicious sandwiches and sweets. Enjoy the beautiful sounds of St. Mary's Polish choir singing traditional Christmas carols. Swiety Mikolaj (St. Nicholas) will be making an appearance with a small gift for the children.
Tickets are $10 and children under 12 are free. Reserve your ticket by calling Nicole Baker: 902-371-5088.

SPECIAL LUNCH AFTER MASS ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 29: This marks the anniversary of the fire. As a gesture of hope, we are inviting to lunch after Mass at the Polish Village Hall the workers who are rebuilding our church. It will be a good opportunity to meet them.

NEW YEAR'S EVE AT THE POLISH VILLAGE HALL: DJ Robin Krszwda. Tickets Tony Melski 537-1417

LIST OF VETERANS FROM OUR PARISH – IN LAST WEEK’S BULLETIN:Peter Stephenson’s name should have been included. Sincere apologies! We will be replacing the framed memorial that was lost in the fire. If there are any other missing names, please advise any member of the Rada.

A REMINDER FROM FATHER PAUL: If you have family members or friends sick and at home or in hospital and would like me to visit them, please call me at the Holy Redeemer glebehouse and let me know. If they are in need of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, please call the hospital chaplain (if they are in hospital) or feel free to call me. It is very difficult to keep track of all the people going in and out of hospital, so it would be good if you can let me know that they would like a visit. There is also a priest on duty call for the Regional Hospital during the evenings and nights, Monday to Friday. They can be called upon for emergency Anointing of the Sick – you just have to ask the nurse to call him.

RECENT IMO (IN MEMORY OF) CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE REBUILDING FUND:
IMO Michael & Nellie Cleary, and Elizabeth Cleary from Peggy Ryba
IMO Ted Baker & Anne Louise Baker from Jean Annette White & Richard White

Ofiarowanie Najświętszej Maryi Panny / Feast of the Presentation of Mary (Nov. 21): The feast marks an event in the Infancy Narrative of James, when Mary’s parents, Anne and Joachim, brought her, while still a child, to the temple in thanksgiving. This is also the feast day of Blessed Franciszka Siedliska, founder of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, with congregations in Poland and North America.
